Rodrigo Cádiz

Rodrigo Cádiz is a civil engineer and music composer. He is professor at the Music Institute of the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile as well as researcher at the Centro de Investigación en Tecnologías de Audio (CITA). He has taught courses in Computer Auditing, Digital Sound Synthesis and  Processing, Signals and Systems, Interactive Art Workshop, Techniques of Electroacoustic Composition, Psychoacoustics and Introduction to Music, Science and Technology.
He has composed music for orchestras, robot orchestras, chamber ensembles and solo instruments. He composes with computers and enjoys mixing traditional instruments with electronics. His compositions are regularly presented at concerts and festivals throughout  Europe, the United States and Latin America. He is currently in charge of the Doctorate in Arts program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
