Pilar Quinteros

Pilar Quinteros (1988, Santiago, Chile) graduated in Art from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2011). She is a co-founder and active member of the MICH (International Museum of Chile) art collective, a group of friends dedicated to generating reflective projects, art spaces and artistic creation, with a special interest in drawing. 
 
Winner of the Jean-Claude Reynal 2012 Fellowship, for artists whose plastic artworks consider paper as a fundamental building material, offered by the French Foundation in conjunction with the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux, France; third place in the  CCU 2013 Art Fellowship; finalist of the Future Generation Art Prize 2014 (PinchukArtCentre, Kiev, Ukraine).


She has exhibited her work in places such as the National Museum of Fine Arts (Bienal de Artes Mediales, Santiago, Chile, 2013), Museum of Contemporary Art (Santiago, Chile, 2010), ArteBA (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2012) The Americas (Havana, Cuba, 2013), PinchukArtCentre (Kiev, Ukraine, 2014), Carlos / Ishikawa Gallery (London, UK) and the International Center of Graphic Arts of Slovenia (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
