Pierre Huyghe (Paris, 1962) is a French artist who works in a variety of media: from sculptures and films to public interventions and interactions with living organisms. Taking the exhibition of art as an exceptional act, Pierre Huyghe sets out to transform the spectator’s experience, confronting them with scales of time and experience that extend their perception. He has exhibited his work in important centers of contemporary art, such as the Tamayo Museum (Mexico City), the Pompidou Center (Paris) and the Tate Modern Gallery (London).
