Bárbara González is a visual and sound artist. She holds a BFA (Painting) from Universidad de Chile and an MFA in Artistic Research from Universidad de Barcelona. Her work crosses ‘performance’ and ‘object’ art utilising analogue and digital technologies to provide “sound-visual assemblage” and utilising multiple media which are mixed to address relationships of time and space. She has exhibited her long-term research Acción Rizoma for more than 10 years on many Sound Art meetings in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Spain and Austria.
