Arturo Duclós

Visual artist. He was born in Santiago, Chile, on May 3, 1959. He studied at the School of Art of the Pontifical Catholic University of Santiago, where he was a student of Eduardo Vilches. He graduated as an Art Degree with a degree in Engraving in 1984. In 1993 he managed and promoted a FONDART project called La Escuela de Santiago, consisting of bringing together four artists: Eugenio Dittborn, Gonzalo Díaz, Juan Dávila and Duclos himself, to perform four series of postcards that had unpublished and published works, which were distributed in different specific and relevant points of the national artistic context, such as the National Museum of Fine Arts, outstanding artists and art critics.
