Octavia is an installation inspired by the fictional city of the same name, which is described by the Italian writer Italo Calvino in The Invisible Cities. «A body, a system, a collective. Each piece fulfills a function, a television of the seventies searches for a signal in the present, a metal wire attaches to the monitor with a sphere located at the height of the floor, it contains a flashing light. A lead drawn by the force of gravity makes the straight line appear in space, the metal wire, draws the path. The object again allows me to speak of what is not, but awaits us. A body in equilibrium keeps its parts in operation, but everything hangs by a thread, there I heard that thread in popular language is called the silver thread.»
