The contest is one of the emblematic activities of the Biennial of Medieval Arts and has become a permanent tribute to the Chilean artist Juan Downey, considered a pioneer of artistic experimentation linked to science and new technologies.
In its more than 20 years, the contest is a reference of the emerging contemporary Chilean and international audiovisual production.
This year’s version considered two categories: (1) Video and Digital Animation, and (2) Interactive Narratives.
