Marcia Tambutti Allende



Marcia Tambutti Allende is Chilean and Mexican, living for long periods in both countries. She studied biology at UNAM, and obtained a Masters in Science at the  Imperial College and the Natural History Museum of London. Her work has developed in subjects of biodiversity and communication science. Since 2007 she has lived in Chile, working with the Salvador Allende Foundation (co-producer and curator of the Ipad Allende application, voices 40 years after the coup) and the Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity. She works on issues of biodiversity, communication of science, dissemination of the legacy of Salvador Allende and her first documentary film Allende, my grandfather Allende, was awarded the best documentary at the Cannes Film Festival 2015.
